Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome.
Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

Notes: C-FTXB at Maniwaki/QC on 23Jul86 - On stand-by at this small municipal airport is the 7th production Canadair water bomber and part of the Quebec Provincial fleet. Later it passed to Buffalo Airways who sold it to Turkey in 2010 as TC-TKJ.

    Airframe: Douglas CC-129 Dakota, s/n 12904 CAF, c/n 16689, c/r CF-BKR
Notes: KP221 at London Gatwick - UK on 01Jun68 - A bit of mystery is this ex-RAF Dakota IV acquired after WW-II. It was based with the RCAF in Europe 1955-1970 then allotted CF-BKR in Jan/72 but by Dec/72 it was off the CCAR with no foreign registration or accident data found. Whilst in Europe believed to be the personal transport of a 3 star General.

    Airframe: Douglas DC-7CF Seven Seas, c/n 45210, c/r HI-524CT
Notes: CF-TAY at London Gatwick - UK on 28May66 - Unfortunately this shot spoiled by the cars in the foreground (unless you happen to be a classic UK Ford fan). Transair acquired this DC-7C from Northwest Airlines in 1965 and here it is still in basic NWA livery. Later they repainted it in the red/gold scheme which I saw when I moved to Winnipeg.

    Airframe: Curtiss C-46F Commando, s/n 44-78733 USAAF, c/n 22556, c/r C-GTPO
Notes: This Curtiss Commando was registered to Air Manitoba as C-GTPO a few days later. Traces of the original civil registration N1258N are visible above the tail-wheel before it became N519AC with Atkins Aviation in 1985

Notes: C-GRWW at Winnipeg on 3Jun85 - Fort St. John based North Cariboo Flying Service operated this Convair 340 from 1980 until Aug/85. It left the country in 1989 and after a period of storage went to Mexico

    Airframe: Curtiss C-46F Commando, s/n 44-78649 USAAF, c/n 22472, c/r C-GIBX
Notes: C-GIBX at Winnipeg on 15May85 - As far as I can determine, this was the second 1980s Curtiss Commando for Ilford-Riverton, who changed name to Northland Air Manitoba about this time. First seen on 03Apr85 and here still without titles (doubtless while they sorted things out), it has been fully painted in a livery that would set the trend for later additions. The cheat-line is heavily influenced by the design of former operator Ortner Air Service where it was N74171.

Notes: C-FVAM at Victoria, BC on 22Sep14 - Viking Twin Otter msn 908 arriving from paint and the most interesting one for a while. The Russian character title is painted in English as Aurora on the other side.

    Airframe: Curtiss C-46F Commando, s/n 44-78565 USAAF, c/n 22388, c/r N1837M
Notes: CF-FNC at Winnipeg on 19 Feb 84 - During the period from 1970, operators in Winnipeg seemed to regress from turbine equipment (B737/YS-11/HS748) to WW-II veterans like these. Ilford-Riverton Airways first Curtiss Commando after re-introduction of the type and shown here before the blue/red livery was applied.
