Reconstruction of Bf-109 G-6 made in Austria by Kurt Steiner. Original parts from many Bf-109 airframes were used to complete this project, notably wings from recovered c/n 784993 (G-14/AS variant) were fitted.
Your Assistance is Needed: Aviaticum - Wiener Neustadt - Messerschmidt Bf109G-6 - Werk number 784993 - coded 13+~This aircraft was in service with IV Gruppe, JG53 on the western front in 1944. Its presence at the museum is very appropriate as just under 8,000 Bf109s were built in the WNF factory located on the airfield.
