    Deployed aboard USS Bon Homme Richard for combat in Vietnam.

    Transferred to Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels), NAS Pensacola, FL.
    Operated with markings: Blue Angels, 4

    From 23 May 1980 to November 1986

    Due to high airframe time, this plane flew only solos, bearing BA numbers 2, 3, 4 and 6 during its time with the Blue Angels.
