    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 78-0681.

    By April 1989

    Transferred to 353rd Tactical Fighter Squadron/354th Tactical Fighter Wing, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC.
    Operated with markings: MB

    Flew 57 missions in Operation Desert Storm, based at King Fahd Airport, Saudi Arabia.

    21 January 1991

    Flown by Capt. Paul Johnson on an eight-hour rescue support mission during Operation Desert Storm, for which he was awarded the Air Force Cross (NMUSAF).

    January 1992

    Ferry flight. Delivered to National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
