    Notes: Taking off from Charlotte Amelie Seaplane Base, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. This 1975-vintage aircraft was originally a land plane with Ken Borek Air of Calgary, AB. It is interesting that she preserved her Canadian identity as a seaplane with Seaborne Airlines.

    Summary: The airframe was damaged but was repairable. There were 43,932 hours and 78,854 cycles on the airframe at the time. The domestic scheduled passenger flight departed COMO Maalifushi Resort, Maldives and was destined for Male-Velana International Airport (MLE/VRMM), Maldives. The accident occurred at Male-Velana International Airport (MLE) (Maldives) while landing. Narrative: The float-equipped DHC-6 aircraft operated by Manta Air was on a domestic passenger flight from Como Maalifushi Resort to Velana International Airport...
