    Constructed as a C-47A-80-DL by Douglas at Long Beach, California, USA.

    February 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 43-15161.

    Transferred to Ninth Air Force, Chartres (A-40), France.

    Fitted with additional SCR-717 navigation and radar equipment for use as a pathfinder.

    24 March 1945

    Transported paratroopers of the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division Division to a drop zone at the southern edge of the Diersfordt,three mile northwest of Wesel, Germany on Operation Varsity.

    From Unknown to August 1961

    Withdrawn from use.
    And stored at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ.

    August 1961

    To Aero American Corporation with new c/r N87644.

    1975

    Noted derelict at Tucson.

    From Circa 1978 to 14 December 1984

    To Millardair, Toronto, ON with new c/r C-GNOA.

    18 July 1978

    Certificate of airworthiness for C-GNOA (DC3C-S4C4G, 19627) issued.
