    Constructed as a F-106A-110-CO by Convair at San Diego, California, USA.
    224th F-106 produced by Convair at San Diego, CA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 59-0054.

    15 May 1960

    To 318th FIS, 325th FW, McChord AFB, WA.
    Markings added: FE-054

    15 July 1968

    Loaned to 48th FIS, Osan AB, South Korea.
    Loaned to the 48th FIS during the USS Pueblo crisis.

    21 December 1968

    Returned from loan to 318th FIS, 25th Air Division, McChord AFB, WA.

    25 July 1978

    Damaged.
    Mid-air collision with A-7D 71-0331 while flying a Red Flag exercise west of Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah. The A-7 lost everything from the left wing fold outboard, literally half the left wing, and crashed. The pilot ejected safely. The F-106A, minus its nose section, landed at Michael Army Airfield, Dugway. F-106 59-0083 was also at Michael Army Airfield, Dugway, having been overstressed a few days earlier. Wings were exchanged from 0054 to make 0083 serviceable, the wings from 0083 and the remainder of 0054 were shipped to Hill AFB, UT and later to SA-ALC. Sacramento Air Logistics Center (SM-ALC), McClellan AFB, CA for repair.

    After July 1978

    To Sacramento Air Logistics Area, McClellan AFB, CA (SM-ALC).
    For repairs.

    1979

    Repair completed.
    Repairs completed and returned to the 318th FIS.

    7 October 1983

    Transferred to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) with inventory number FN016.

    10 June 1992

    To AEL Inc, East Alton, IL.
    For drone conversion.

    16 September 1992

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n AD201 as a QF-106A.

    14 February 1996

    Shot down.
    Shot down on 5th NULLO by an AIM-120.
