    Transferred to 37th TCS, 316th TCG, 9th AF, Cottesmore (Station 489).

    21 March 1945

    TDY to Wethersfield (Station 170).

    24 March 1945

    Transported British 9th Parachute Battalion paratroopers to a drop zone at the southern edge of the Diersfordt, three mile northwest of Wesel, Germany during Operation Varsity.

    18 September 1947

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 43-16266.

    By 1949

    Transferred to Northeast Air Command (NEAC).
    Operated with markings: NORTHEAST AIR COMMAND
