    New serial number assigned: 8555M RAF

    In 1977 the Hastings took off on its final flight. Around thirty years after the start of the airlift, squadron leader K. R. Jackson piloted the TG 503 from England to Berlin-Gatow. For many years the aircraft stood as a gate guard at the British Allies air base. Ventral radome specific to T.5 variant was removed.

    Placed on display with Alliierten Museum (Allied Museum), Zehlendorf, Berlin, Berlin.
    Air transport from Gatow to Zehlendorf as external load on a Russian Mil Mi-26T.
