    Aviation Chief Machinists Mate Henry C. White and Radioman First Class George H. Boggs, Jr., flew V212 on an antisubmarine patrol south of Houma, Louisiana. They attacked and damaged U-171.

    24 February 1948

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Coast Guard.

    April 1948

    To U. S. Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, Washington, DC with new c/r N743.

    1956

    To Kodiak Airways, Kodiak, AK with new c/r N2770A.

    1959

    Crashed.
    Crashed, sank, Kodiak Channel, AK.

    1960

    To Geroge Pappas, Anchorage, AK keeping c/r N2770A.

    By June 1960

    Repaired.
    Rebuilt with Continental engines.

    9 January 1964

    Certificate of airworthiness for N2770A (G-44A, 1260) issued.

    1966

    To R. J. Anderson Co, Anchorage, AK keeping c/r N2770A.

    18 July 1966

    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number ANC67A0009: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 11:49 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Seldovia Airport, Seldovia, AK. Landed wheels up on touch down. The factors included; failed to use the miscellaneous aircraft conditions checklist.
