Report remarks include: Aircraft skipped off high swell, landed hard, tail surface damaged by heavy spray. Incident occurred at or near Avalon, CA.

Incident occurred at the Pebbly Beach Spb Airport, Avalon, CA. The flight departed from Long Beach, CA, with the destination Avalon, CA. Suffered a hard landing on touch down. The factors included; rough water. Report remarks include: Pilot landed on smooth water. Hull contacted boat wake. Damaged right horiz stab and elevator.

    Crashed.
    There was one minor injury. The accident occurred at the Edwards Lucian Wells Airport Big Spring, TX, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. During flight, the pilot noted that the left fuel tank was almost empty and the right tank had gained fuel. He immediately switched from the both position to the right tank and started to work the wobble pump. The fuel continued to drop in the left tank and the aircraft lost power in both engines...
