    A ferry flight to Vincennes IN, and then ferried up to Canada.

    Operated for Canadian Forest Protection Limited spruce budworm spray program New Brunswick; sprayer #27.

    25 June 1957

    Damaged.
    Substantially damaged during aerial application when the engine lost power during a swathe run and force landed on rough terrain 1.5 miles northeast of MacFarlane airstrip, NB; a piece of the spray pump fan blade broke from the fan and pierced the oil cooler causing loss of oil.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot reported that during the second touch--go landing on this flight, he attempted to correct direction of aircraft with left pedal. He said he touched left pedal, plane nosed over after making uncommanded turn to the left. No pre-acdnt part failure/malfunction was rprtd. The 1843 edt wind was from 110 degree at 12 knots.

    Crashed.
    There were two minor injuries. The accident occurred at Wauchula, FL, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. The pilot was in cruise flight at 1500 feet above ground level when the airplane experienced a total loss of engine power. The pilot made a forced landing to the only available landing area. On landing rollout the airplane collided with a ditch and nosed over...
