    Constructed as a PA-39.
    First PA-39 and not part of British order. Only surviving example of 7 built.

    To Pitcairn Aircraft Company, Willow Grove, PA with new c/r NC3908.
    Retained for tests.

    By 1971

    To Gerald L. Bruener, Orinca, CA with new c/r N3908.

    To Stephen Pitcairn keeping c/r N3908.
    Harold Pitcairns son.

    By July 2002

    Donated to the EAA AirVenture Museum along with other aircraft by Stephen Pitcairn.

    To EAA Airventure Museum, Whittman Regional Airport, Oshkosh, WI.
