    Transferred to Fighter Photo Reconnaissance Squadron 62 (VFP-62), Cecil Field, FL.
    Operated with markings: GA-913
    Deployed with USS Forrestal.

    September 1962

    Redesignated as RF-8A.

    1964

    Markings Applied: AJ-913

    Circa 1965

    Transferred to Transferred to Light Photographic Squadron 63 (VFP-63), NAS Miramar, CA.
    Operated with markings: PP-907

    1966

    Converted to a RF-8G.

    1970

    Markings Applied: AJ-600

    1972

    Markings Applied: AE-602

    1975

    Markings Applied: NL-652
    The tail was marked in a bicentennial paint scheme.

    18 May 1982

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 2F0429.

    2007

    To USS Battleship Alabama Memorial Park, Mobile, AL.
    Replaced 146898 on display at USS Alabama after former was damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
